Dartmoor Farmhouse B & B

The farm sits in a wooded valley surrounded by beautiful moorland containing the ancient sites of Scorhill Stone Circle, Grey Wethers, an Iron Age Pound, Stone rows, Standing stones and numerous Bronze age hut circles. The surrounding countryside offers wild woodland walks by the river and a back gate that opens directly onto the open moor. There are a variety of routes to choose from; close by are Scorhill Stone circle, Kestor, Fernworthy, and further afield Watern tor and Grey Wethers beckon the more intrepid walker.

DOUBLE BEDROOM  overlooking the garden to views of Scorhill. Downstairs is a cosy sitting room and  shower room, both for your own use. The facilities include; kingsize bed, sofa bed in sitting room,  shower/toilet/basin, tea making  and basic cooking in a small kitchenette. Own entrance and fully self contained.

Minimum stay of two nights. Discounts available for 5 days plus.

TWIN BEDROOM with views overlooking the garden and Dartmoor. There are two single beds with en suite bathroom; bath, shower tap, toilet and basin. Tea making facilities in room. Access to farm kitchen with  shared fridge and cooking facilities.

WILD CAMPING -  available  at certain times of the year for small groups. The site is in the Badgers Field which has stunning views to Scorhill Stone Circle. You will be camping near a Badgers set with opportunities for a spot of Badger watching. Sensitivity to nature is a must. There is a water tap and a compost loo.
